Description

Built for the southpaws, the Wolfgang Special LH features a basswood body with arched top and a sturdy graphite-reinforced bolt-on quarter-sawn maple neck with hand-polished satin urethane finish. Carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen's exact specifications. Ready for energetic riffs and hard-hitting leads, the 12-16"" compound radius ebony fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. A spoke wheel is conveniently located at the base of the neck, making truss rod adjustments easier than ever.

A pair of custom-built EVH® Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups are mounted directly to the body, providing dynamic yet articulate vocals and endless sustain that accentuates powerful chords and melodic lines.

The rugged and reliable EVH branded Floyd Rose® locking trem and Floyd Rose locking nut work together to ensure precise tuning even with extreme pitch changes, while the EVH D-Tuna® tunes you to Drop D and back with incredible precision as you strike tuning. Fingers with a low-friction volume control for smooth boosts and high-friction tone controls to prevent accidental tone changes.

Dark and mysterious in a Stealth finish outlined with single-ply cream body binding, the Wolfgang Special LH features a matching headstock and brooding black hardware.
