The AAD50 features a grand dreadnought body shape constructed of a solid Sitka spruce top with X-M bracing on laminated sapele sides and back with a low gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a black and white multi rosette with binding and the top is bordered with wooden purfling and black binding. It has a okoume neck with a 20-fret purpleheart fingerboard with a rounded edge, white dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a purpleheart bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, a black pickguard and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
