The SRMS805 features a poplar burl top on a double-cutaway walnut and mahogany body bolted to a jatoba and walnut multi-scale neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with offset stadium position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, a Mono-rail bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
