The Made in Japan Hybrid II series is truly worthy of being called a "hybrid," as it retains the vintage look while incorporating modern specs that are versatile for any player or musical genre. This product combines playability and instrument tone that will suit any guitarist or bassist, whether rhythm or lead, and is made in Japan, which has many fans worldwide.

The Hybrid II Precision Jazz Bass® PJ features the acclaimed alder body and is equipped with both Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazz Bass® pickups and P Bass® pickups with staggered pole pieces, allowing it to produce everything from the clear, tight sound unique to the Jazz Bass® to the powerful vintage tone of the P Bass®.

A sustain block is mounted under the vintage-style bridge. Vintage-style tuners, a satin-finish neck, a modern "C"-shaped 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets provide smooth playability.
