[PREORDER] Fender Justin Meldal-Johnson Road Worn Mustang Bass Guitar, Faded Daphne Blue

Since 1964, the Fender Mustang Bass has been one of the most iconic and widely recognised offset body style basses available and it just oozes a rock and roll vibe. The downsized alder body and 30” scale length make it comfortable for smaller players or those who enjoy jumping around a lot on stage. Justin Meldal-Johnsen has played with the likes of Beck, Nine Inch Nails, and Drake, among others. A dedicated bass player since the age of 14, "JMJ," as he is known, has played a Fender Mustang Bass exclusively for over a decade. Now Fender has partnered with JMJ to design the Fender Justin Meldal-Johnsen Road Worn Bass and bring it to the public.

Designed specifically to match the vintage ’67 Mustang Bass JMJ plays both on the road and in the studio, it has an alder body, maple "C" neck, and rosewood fretboard. A single Custom Seymour Duncan Split Single-Coil pickup is featured and puts out the thick, meaty low-end tone. With the worn-through paint on the body to pick marks on the front and the aged hardware, the JMJ Mustang looks and feels road-worn and ready to play.
