Alexi Laiho, the visionary frontman of Children of Bodom, pushed the boundaries of death metal with unrivaled virtuosic melodicism. The ESP LTD Alexi Hexed is based on one of Lex's final designs, and it's something that — prior to his untimely passing — the Children of Bodom frontman was proud of and eager to unleash. The LTD Alexi Hexed features an aggressive, offset ""V""-shaped body, decked out in a Purple Fade finish with light purple pinstripes and a matching back and sides. A single EMG pickup arms this metal-ready axe for roughed-up mayhem. Neck-thru-body construction ensures maximum resonance and sustain. You also get a comfortable 3-piece maple neck that's capped by a fast-playing 24-fret ebony fingerboard, plus a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo for rock-solid twisting, bending, and dive-bombing. The LTD Alexi Hexed is topped off with head-turning chrome hardware, sawtooth fingerboard inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers.
