The ebony or quarter-sawn maple fingerboard with a 10-14 inch compound radius features Ultra rolled edges, medium jumbo frets, phosphorescent Luminlay® side dots and a Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut. The tapered neck heel and deep body contour allow easy access to the high positions. The American Ultra II Meteora® features two Haymaker™ humbuckers that deliver hum-free tone from sweet, crystal-clean to modern crunch. The patented S-1™ switch coil-splits the Haymaker™ humbuckers, and the standard master tone knob plus a carefully tuned bass cut provide even more sonic variety. Practical features include a string-through-body hardtail bridge with six polished stainless block saddles, deluxe locking tuning machines, soft-touch knobs and a 1-ply anodized pickguard.
