This instrument is custom-painted in a Sienna sunburst color that evokes the image of a sunset, and the contrast between this retro color and the pearl white pickguard makes for a very nice color scheme.

The Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickup, developed specifically for the Hybrid II series, provides a very wide range and clear sound, as well as a fast response.

This pickup, developed in collaboration with the product management team in the USA, is designed to output a clear sound with a powerful output and to have uniform output and tone regardless of which string is played, smoothly outputting the punchy sound of an electric bass. It combines both "physical ease of playing" due to the easy-to-grip modern "C" shape and satin finish neck, and "sensational ease of playing" due to the smoothness from the right hand attack to the sound output, making it an all-purpose electric bass that is suitable for any player or musical genre.
