The SR5CMDX features a curly maple, purpleheart and walnut top and back on a double-cutaway ash body bolted to a titanium reinforced panga panga and purpleheart Atlas neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, Mono-rail bridges with 19mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
