Its nyatoh body with a gloss finish provides a resonant, balanced foundation, while the bolt-on maple neck reinforced with graphite and a tilt-back scarf joint headstock ensures stability and consistent tuning. The 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets allows effortless chording near the nut and smooth, low-action bends higher up the neck, making extended playing sessions comfortable.

The DK1A DX is equipped with a Jackson High-Output Humbucking bridge pickup and a high-output mini rail humbucker in the neck, offering a wide tonal range from searing leads to tight rhythm tones. A 3-way blade switch, single volume and tone controls, and dome-style knobs provide intuitive control, while the recessed Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge ensures stable tuning and expressive vibrato capabilities.
