The AR520HFM features an arched flame maple top with abalone purfling and cream binding on a chambered maple body with an ƒ-hole which is mated to a set-in maple neck with a smooth heel and a 22-fret fingerboard with binding and acrylic and abalone split block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls wired to Tri-sound switches which allow a range of tone options, a Gibraltar Performer Tune-o-matic style bridge, a Quik Change Classic tailpiece with integrated scalloped gold ornament, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez die-cast tuners with half moon buttons.
