The V44CE features a cutaway dreadnought body constructed of a laminated meranti top on laminated meranti sides and back with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has a black and white rosette and a black pickguard. The meranti neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a 20-fret nandu wood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a nandu wood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez open gear tuning machines.
