In Conjunction to the band's 15th anniversary in 2021, Scandal's bassist Tomomi recently released her newest signature Fender Jazz Bass® model.
The body colour has a traditional impression, but the original colour "Clear Fiesta", which has a transparent wood grain, is used, and the mint green pickguard and cream-coloured pickup cover are seen in the very early JAZZ BASS® from 1960 to 1961. The combination of stack knobs gives it a unique look that has never been seen before.
The Alder body and vintage-style bridge are selected, and the Pure Vintage '64 Single-Coil Jazz Bass® outputs a thick and chewy classic tone, while the neck has a slim "C" grip similar to that of the American Professional II.
Tomomi incorporates modern elements in a well-balanced vintage style, such as a 5-point neck plate with increased joint strength even though the heel is cut, and the use of the Pure Vintage '70s with Fender® Logo, which is not reversed.
