Featuring a basswood body, a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn baked maple neck, and custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups, this guitar offers impressive sustain, dynamic response, and articulate sound for everything from powerful rhythm riffs to expressive lead playing.

Designed for speed and comfort, the Wolfgang Special features a 12"-16" compound-radius baked maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays, providing a comfortable playing surface for chords, fast runs, and wide bends. The hand-rubbed satin urethane neck finish ensures a smooth feel, while the conveniently positioned heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel makes neck adjustments quick and easy.

The direct-mounted EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers deliver a balanced combination of punch, clarity, and sustain. With a three-position pickup selector, the guitar offers versatile tones for clean passages, crunchy rhythms, and high-gain lead work. The 500K EVH Bourns low-friction volume pot with treble bleed maintains clarity during volume adjustments, while the 250K high-friction tone pot helps prevent accidental changes to your preferred settings.

For reliable tuning stability during aggressive playing, the Wolfgang Special is equipped with an EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo and a Floyd Rose R2 locking nut. The integrated EVH D-Tuna allows quick and accurate switching between standard tuning and Drop D, making it ideal for players who need flexibility during live performances. Finished in Gloss Black with cream body binding and zebra pickups, this guitar combines a distinctive appearance with dependable stage-ready performance.
