The redesigned Channel Core™ center block combines a maple top layer with a spruce bottom layer to produce faster note attack, enhanced midrange punch, increased sustain, and excellent feedback control. Combined with the refined laminated flame maple body and deeper cutaways, the Broadkaster® LX delivers outstanding resonance while offering effortless access to the upper frets for improved playability.

Loaded with Gretsch's flagship Pro Twin Six™ humbucking pickups, the Broadkaster® LX delivers exceptional tonal flexibility. The neck pickup produces warm, clear, and articulate tones with impressive definition, while the bridge pickup offers tight low-end, focused mids, sparkling highs, and outstanding clarity without harshness. Independent pickup volume controls, a master volume with treble bleed, a no-load master tone control featuring the "Squeezebox" capacitor, and a 3-position toggle switch provide extensive tonal shaping for everything from pristine cleans to powerful overdriven sounds.

A comfortable Standard "U" maple neck is paired with a premium ebony fingerboard featuring rolled edges, 22 medium jumbo frets, and glow-in-the-dark Luminlay® side dots for smooth playability and confident navigation in low-light environments. The 24.6" scale length offers a comfortable feel that is equally suited to rhythm work, expressive lead playing, and intricate chord voicings.
